Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you need? Contact us

Is my data private?
Yes. Recording and processing happen locally in your browser, and videos are saved directly to your Downloads folder.
What format are recordings saved in?
Recordings are saved as WebM files, a modern open video format supported by major browsers and many video tools.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes tab recording with microphone audio and WebM export. Pro unlocks 50 Mbps video, 256 kbps audio, automatic sensitive-data blur, and priority support.
Is there a recording time limit?
TabCaster does not add a fixed recording time limit. Available memory, storage, and browser behavior can still affect very long recordings.
